Bit perfect audio-player for mac os x

I don't know about 'bit-perfect' sound on my PC but it's far from great. JRiver in my short term tests again I find the equivalent of Pure Music and Amarra but since it is not just a media player but a complete data management system which does not depend on iTunes to manage the media library (yes some can play without iTunes but you still need a data management software in my opinion as self management of folder and file structures and artwork and metadata is too tedious and ripe for errors) it may be my long term go to software as it refines its beta version to a full release model for Mac. During my trials of Amarra I found it comparable to Pure Music but again preferred Audivrana and I find the asking price of the full featured version of Amarra high (previously exorbitant). I keep trying the newer versions of Pure Music but I continue to return to Audivrana.

My experience on the Mac side is primarily with Pure Music which I used for almost two years, Audivrana + which I have now been using for about a year, Amarra which I tried their free trial twice and now JRiver For Mac which I bought the early license for but have only used and listened to sparingly to this point.
